Introduction
Meraki has always been different. It’s not just about the technology, but also about how it’s used and who we are as people. That’s why our employees enjoy working here so much: We have fun together, we’re creative and we’re always looking for new ways to improve everything from our products to our customers’ experiences.
Meraki is always on, connected, and secure
When you’re not using your Meraki device for the first time, it’s automatically configured with an IP address and password that are specific to your network. You don’t need to worry about whether your network is secure or not–Meraki will ensure it stays that way over time.
Additionally, if you’ve ever lost track of which devices are connected to which ports within a cloud-managed environment like ours (or in any other kind of managed environments), then this feature helps make sure everyone knows who’s where at all times: just log into their dashboard and click “show me what I’m connected.”
No centralized architecture means you don’t have to worry about who’s making the configurations
One of the biggest reasons why Meraki’s approach is so different is because it doesn’t use a centralized architecture. Instead, each device has its own configuration and management role in your network. That means you don’t have to worry about who makes the changes–you simply let them do their thing without interference from other parts of the company or any outside parties that might want to change something for their own benefit.
Meraki security is built in, but privacy is not
Meraki is a cloud-based system, so it’s always on and always connected. This means that your network is protected by Cisco Meraki Cape Girardeau ‘s built-in security features, which are designed to prevent attacks from outsiders and malicious users. You don’t need to worry about installing plugins or updating software–Meraki takes care of everything for you.
This also means that your data is secure by default: all communications between devices in your network are encrypted before they leave the device (including Wi-Fi traffic), decrypted upon arrival at their destination and then reencrypted by the device before being sent back out again.
Automatic configuration means there are no manual changes
The system will automatically detect and configure your network, reducing the need for IT staff to make manual changes, or for you to worry about configuration drift or errors.
No more configuration conflicts! With Meraki, security is easy: your devices talk directly with each other using Open Source standards based on 802.1x authentication (EAP), so they don’t need to share security credentials with each other–they just work together on the same secure network without any extra work from IT staff or yourself.
You can add or remove features without recompiling
Meraki is a cloud-based system, which means you can add or remove features without recompiling. We do not need to buy additional hardware or hire additional staff like you would if you had a traditional network at home. The only thing that changes is the software running on your devices–and even then, we recommend only updating “critical” components (such as firewalls) using our software update tool.
Meraki makes your business easier to run and more secure.
Meraki is always on, connected and secure. We don’t have to worry about centralizing our configuration because we let you manage your own network–and you can choose who gets access to what at any given time.
Meraki security is built in from day one. When you’re working with Meraki security controls, things like intrusion detection and data loss prevention are part of the default settings from day one (no manual changes required). And since Meraki has no centralized architecture, there’s no risk of someone compromising your network by making changes without authorization or permission from the end user.
Conclusion
Meraki is a company that cares about its customers. That’s why we take the time to get to know you and the way you use our products. We want our products to be an extension of your life, not something you simply use in place of another. If this resonates with you then Meraki might just be the right choice for your future!
